Most people arrive knowing something about their space hasn't quite found its footing — they can feel it, but putting it into words is harder. That's usually where we start.
My job isn't to translate a brief. It's to listen for what's underneath it: the feeling you're reaching for when you imagine your space working. I try to hear that clearly enough to bring it into being.
I'm an interior designer based in Ballito, South Africa, working with residential clients and developers locally and in Dubai. I've been practising since 2008, trained with a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design and a Diploma in Interior Decorating.
I also work as a maturation coach — a practice built on the same deep listening. The two are different expressions of the same underlying thinking: that understanding a person clearly is what makes it possible to serve them well.
You don't need to arrive with a fully formed idea. That's my job.
